The Big Rides

At each camp we do a highly recommended (but optional) “Big Ride”. This ride often includes a night away, sometimes spent in a Monastery at the top of Randa Typically, this ride includes an intermediate climb such as Valdemossa or Col de Soller followed by one of the two Cat 1 Climbs (Sa Calobra and Puig Major), with our fastest riders often doing both Cat 1 Climbs.  

Sample Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Get Bikes

    Ride to Petra 60 - 80 km;

    Coffee stop Petra

    Opening Evening Reception

  • Day 2

    Ride to Betlem, Arta

    75 - 110 km;

    After Dinner: Group meeting to discuss any changes to rides, schedule, or other issues

  • Day 3

    Ride Foothills, 100-120 km;

    Coffee stop Campanet or Sineu

  • Day 4

    Ride: Bunyola / Oriente (Cat 2 Climb) 90 to 110 km;

    Coffee stop Oriente

  • Day 5

    Day Off: Rent Cars and explore the Island or hang in Can Picafort.

    We often go to Puig Major (the highest point on Island), lunch at fabulous restaurant in Diea (UNESCO Heritage Site) or go to Palma for sites, shopping, and a meal.

  • Day 6

    Interior island ride

    105-130km

    Typcially includes 1-2 Category 2 climbs

    Spend the night at a Monastery

  • Day 7

    The Big Ride: 120-140 km

    (2200-2900 ft in elevation)

    Typically includes:

    1 Category 2 climb and

    1-2 Category 1 Climbs (depending on group) Climbs may include Col de Soller, Sa Calobra, and/or Puig Major

  • Day 8

    Cool down/Last day of Riding

    60-90 km

    or Optional "Cappuccino Ride" to Son Serra de Marina - 25 km

Single Occupancy

Spring: $2675 per person | Fall: $3075 per person

Our Fall camp is an incredible time to visit Mallorca as a tourist, making it the perfect chance to disguise your cycling trip as a family getaway.
